In all seriousness (or somewhat anyway), I'm Bec. I'm an outgoing, friendly person with a propensity to be snarky at times - which you might discover after reading a couple of my blog posts. As a born & bred east coaster raised by midwesterners, I have the capability to speak my mind but still be nice about it. I hail from the great state of Maryland but went to school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and stayed around, so I guess I'm pretty much a processed cheesehead.
I work in marketing graphic design - a hobby that somehow turned into my career path. (Yes, I'm trying to figure that out too.) This may also explain why I enjoy photography and writing (hence, you're stuck with this). As social justice major by education, I do have my altruistic side and remain involved with volunteering causes I believe in.
I love hanging out with my friends - whether it be playing volleyball, patronizing a local establishment or hanging out in someone's backyard. I believe it's not where you are, but who you're with.
